How Does “Katherine Walden” fulfil her Ministry Statement?

Daily Christian Quote (DCQ) The DCQ began in 1998 as little daily email sent out to a few friends. It quickly grew. In 2001, at the request of email subscribers, I created the DCQ website so quotes could be archived and searched by subject, date and author. The website now hosts over 4500 quotes with very few duplicates! However, due to financial constraints, the DCQ ceased its daily email service on June 25, 2016. The website is still up and running and Katherine adds quotes on a daily basis. She also posts quotes on Facebook.
Encouragingbiblequotes.com provides an extensive index of Bible verses, organised by subject or interest. (Parenting, Hope, Peace, Messianic promises, Daily Bible Reading Plans, etc.)
Kath Walden No Longer active but I leave the videos in place that correspond with each chapter in my three books along with a few other videos.

Bible Reading Plans Hosts several daily reading schedules. Each plan allows readers to study the Bible, cover to cover, in an organised fashion.
Prayer Helps Thousands of people visit this section every year. They come to learn how to become more effective in their prayer lives. Others wish to develop a deeper intimacy in their prayer walk. Churches and small groups around the world have honoured me by using my materials to raise up prayer warriors and intercessors in their local bodies. Please note: I no longer have the ability to accept prayer requests at this time as prayer request boards require extremely high-security software to safeguard privacy and I simply do not have the funds nor the prompting of the Holy Spirit to bring the prayer board back into action.

Who Is Katherine Walden?
Hello, I’m Katherine. As you surf through the pages of this site, hopefully, you will gain insight into myself. I am a Christian, and my life is found in Christ, so His name is sprinkled throughout all these pages. I live with a neurological disorder called Charcot Marie Tooth Disease, but I have not allowed my disability to stop me from living an active, productive life. I worked with Youth With A Mission for 13 years and finally settled in Alberta, Canada. As my disability has progressed to the place I can no longer work in the regular workforce, I decided, upon the advice of my doctors, pastors and family to hang up the traditional work hat.
However, someone once said, “You can take the minister out of the pulpit, but you can’t take the ministry out of the minister.” When I discovered the internet in 1994, I had no idea how the Lord would begin to challenge me to continue ministering around the world without taking a step from my apartment. Thousands are blessed by the daily quotes I send out, thousands of visitors visit the ministry’s websites on a daily basis and thousands find encouragement through the devotionals. I am reaching more people on a regular basis than I would have ever imagined reaching when I was a more traditional missionary!
From my earliest years as a Christian to the present day, I have gleaned wisdom and spiritual nourishment from many Christian streams and denominations. I was led to the Lord at the age of 10 by two Baptist ladies who held a Sunday School class during a hospital stay. I never saw the women again but am grateful for their influence. Looking back over the years, I see the fruit of the seeds they planted so long ago. I deepened my walk, committing myself to Christ during my last years of high school in the Catholic School system. I attended a Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada church for a few years before I joined Youth With A Mission. During my 14 years in missions, I fellowshipped in local churches around the world, gleaning wisdom and truth in various denominations, such as Baptist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Anglican and non-denominational. I worshipped while sitting on bamboo mats in refugee camps and while sitting on plush padded pews in mega-churches in the United States.
I have been profoundly blessed by teachers, pastors, and writers from just about every stream of Christianity. I will never deny the fundamental tenets of my faith. I believe salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ. I believe in the virgin birth and the deity of Christ. I believe He physically walked the earth, demonstrating the love of His Father through the power of the Holy Spirit in action and word, I gratefully acknowledge that His sinless death on the cross for my sins and His physical resurrection that restored my relationship with the Godhead. I worship the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I am not a Cessationist. Many of my influences happen to come from denominational streams that believe in this teaching. However, I am a Spirit-Filled Christian. I don’t just think the Holy Spirit is active and moving on the earth today in signs and wonders; I KNOW and I have born witness to His power displayed on the earth!
