It’s been a challenging week for me physically, but I want to take a moment to share something that has brought me deep comfort.
I’ve realized that my strength doesn’t come from saying all the right words or pushing through with sheer willpower. In those hard moments, what steadies me is the simple act of whispering the name of Jesus. Just His name—and He is there.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed right now, please don’t feel like you need to do more.
Instead, I invite you to pause and breathe.
Take a few deep breaths. As you exhale, gently release every burden—people, situations, emotional weight, and physical pain. Let it all go. Surrender it to Him.
And as you inhale again, receive. Receive His peace. Receive His strength. Receive His nearness.
Take a deep breath in.
Hold it for a moment.
Now exhale and let the tension go.
When you breathe in again, imagine Him filling every empty space within you—renewing, restoring, and refreshing your spirit.
God is never overwhelmed. He is never distant. Even in silence, He is close.
You are not alone in this.
And neither am I.
