Video Transcript:

[00:00:01] Hi everybody and welcome back to the Daily Bible Promises with a Twist. And today’s verse we’re reading from the NIV first.

[00:00:08] Romans 8:32 – “He who did not spare his own son but gave him up for us all. How will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things.”

[00:00:27] That really sounds too good to be true. So, I did what I’ve been doing. I looked at a bunch of translations. I’m concentrating using the New American Standard Bible, however.

[00:00:39] Romans 8:32 NASB. “He who did not spare his own son but delivered him up for us all. How will he not also with him freely give us all things.”

[00:00:52] This chapter. Romans Chapter 8, If you go down to starting at about verse 28 is just a magnificent promise, full of who we are in Christ and God’s protection over us. If I have the energy, I’m going to memorize this again. I memorized it once when I was a very young believer, so hopefully, it won’t be that hard to memorize these passages again. But let’s go into a little bit, shall we? I going to read from Romans 8:28 in the New American Standard Bible.

[00:01:39] Just sit and listen and let this sink in today.

[00:01:45] Romans 8:28-32 NASB – “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?”

[00:02:39] All things. So, what are all these things? Let’s go.

[00:02:47] We are predestined. At the beginning of time, God sent forth His Son. He knew that we were coming into his fold.

[00:02:58] He conforms us to the image of His Son. There is another bonus. He did so we could be part of the brethren. In Verse 29, it says that Jesus was the firstborn of many brethren. Guess what? We’re part of that many. “And who He predestined he called. And those He called, He justified and those He justified, He glorified.”

Did you know right now we are glorified? That rocks my boat, today.

[00:03:40] “So what shall we say to these things. If God is for us who is against us. He who did not spare His own son but deliver Him up for us all, how will he not also with him freely give us all things.”

[00:03:56] There is so much that we were given when Christ died for our sins, but He just didn’t die for our sins. He died in order to redeem us and to restore to us all that was taken from us from the one who is against us but who God has given us the power to crush underneath our feet.
