Nothing Can Separate Us From The Love Of God In Christ Jesus

Defiantly declare God's truth when the enemy whispers in your ear. Shout the truth even when you feel like you are hanging on a ledge with your fingernails. Do not give into passivity. Fight the good fight.

Nothing Can Separate Us From The Love Of God In Christ Jesus!

Facing continuing economic crisis, increasing persecution against Christianity, devastating weather, health crises, family hardships, homelessness, or anything else? Remember this truth.  Nothing can separate us from God. Absolutely nothing. God’s love is fierce, it is not passive, it is not disengaged.

No matter what you are facing right now and no matter what might come against you in the coming months, hold on to these truths.

1. The Bible has answers.
2. Prayer is still the most powerful thing on Earth.
3. The Holy Spirit is active and on the move.
4. God still honours the praises of His people.
5. There is still God-anointed preaching and teaching on this earth.
6. There will still be the faithful singing praise to God.
7. God is still pouring out blessings upon His people.
8. There is plenty of room at the Cross.
9. Jesus still loves you.
10. Jesus will continue to save the lost and continues to woo them to his heart.

Romans 8:18,31-38 (ESV)
I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God… What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Personal Application

Take the above Bible passage to heart. Say it out loud. Defiantly declare it when the enemy whispers in your ear. Shout the truth even when you feel like you are hanging on a ledge with your fingernails. Do not give into passivity. Fight the good fight.
